Business Partnership

“Our deep local roots motivate us to make a difference in the community in a way that reflects our core values of integrity, excellence, teamwork, and commitment. I can think of no better partner than Urban Ministries of Wake County, an agency with a 35-year track record of compassionate service to our neighbors in need.”

Our Mission

Since 1981, Urban Ministries of Wake County has engaged our community to serve and advocate on behalf of those affected by poverty by providing food and nutrition, promoting health and wellness, and by laying the foundations of home.

What Partnership Means

Partnership is an ongoing commitment to alleviate poverty in Wake County beyond just providing relief today, but ensuring a brighter tomorrow, too. Partnership allows us to tell the story of how you—your clients and employees–collaborate with Urban Ministries to make a difference in the community.

Partners versus Sponsors

Distinct from sponsors, partners customize annual gifts and expectations for brand alignment each year, eliminating multiple sponsorship solicitations. We work together to define our partnership—the amount of support, payment schedule, type and frequency of PR—to suit your needs. The key is commitment. While the details may vary from year to year, we’re committed to each other and to Wake County for the long run.

Event Recognition

Urban Ministries of Wake County hosts three events every year to engage the community, raise awareness of poverty, and raise funds to help our neighbors in need. Sponsorship levels and related benefits vary between each event, as detailed below. Sponsor recognition is provided via print newsletters, online, social media, event signage and invitations, and media outreach.

Please view an overview of available sponsorships and levels here or find more information on individual events from the links below:

Partner Benefits

Partners may choose some or all of the benefits available to event sponsors. Beyond that, partners receive special recognition designed to align our organizations’ good work in the public eye.

Here are some ideas we’ve considered, but we welcome your suggestions:

  • Customized communications to your business customers
  • Targeted co-branding in our communications content
  • Involvement in strategy and planning with Urban Ministries’ leadership
  • Involvement at Urban Ministries, including volunteer opportunities for employees
  • Unique recognition at all events, on Urban Ministries’ website, and in social media
  • Networking opportunities with other partners of Urban Ministries
