Applicants, please read the following information below prior to submitting your internship application.
All applicants pursuing an internship for academic credit must disclose this information before accepting the position in order for the Manager of Volunteer Services to review the student’s academic requests of our agency. An applicant needing approval of university academic advisors/programs must be approved prior to committing to accepting the internship role offer extended.
All applicants selected as interns must be available to attend the mandatory internship orientation and be available to meet with their internship facilitator afterwards to solidify their schedule for the semester. Additionally, all scribe interns must be available to attend a training with Dr. Greenberg until 4:30 pm the day of the mandatory orientation.
All interns must be available to attend the mandatory orientation, training, and all of their scheduled shifts as arrangements cannot be made for individual orienting or trainings.
Interested interns should contact Victoria Rucinski, Manager of Volunteer Services, with the following:
- Cover letter
- Resume – specifying position(s) of interest (up to three)
- Semester availability in the following format: Availability for each week day in the following format: Mondays From : __ (am/pm) to __ (am/pm)
All applicants chosen must attend the mandatory internship orientation and scribes must additionally be available after the orientation for 3 hours of training.
Applicants selected who are unable to meet the requirements must notify the Manager of Volunteer Services and withdraw from the internship program immediately.
