Become a Member of the 52 Week Food Drive

By participating in the 52 Week Food Drive, you take responsibility for stocking our Food Pantry for one week each year. That’s 200 families in Wake County eating healthy meals for a week – all thanks to YOU!

We’ll help you plan and execute your food drive. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer in the Pantry to see the fruits of your labor!

The 52 Week Food Drive can be a great team-building exercise for your family, neighborhood, company, congregation, school, or civic group, with the added benefit of helping our neighbors in need! You will have naming rights on the pantry door for one week, and your contribution will be acknowledged on the Urban Ministries website and in our Skylines newsletter as a 52 Week Member.

Once your group becomes a member of the “One Ton Club,” an Urban Ministries representative will speak to your organization about the vital work that is being done in our community. Also, if you choose to make a financial contribution in lieu of a food drive, you can still receive 52 week food drive benefits. All donations are tax deductible.
