Our Services

Urban Ministries of Wake County was established to provide a central place for people in financial crisis to come for help. Today, Urban Ministries of Wake County continues to alleviate the effects of poverty on the lives of Wake County citizens through a variety of programs:

• Crisis Support Program
• Open Door Clinic
• Helen Wright Center for Women (HWCW)
• Food Pantry

These programs provide essential services, including emergency and transitional housing, medical care, financial assistance, and food assistance to more than 20,000 families and individuals every year.
