- More than 700 active volunteers including physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, health educators, dietitians, credentialed diabetes professionals. phlebotomists, interpreters and eligibility screeners join the staff to provide care to patients.

- Access to specialty care through Project Access, a program of the Wake County Medical Society
- Access to Prescription Assistance Programs of pharmaceutical companies, which provide more than $3 million of free medications to Clinic patients annually
- Funding from The Stewards Fund, the North Carolina Free Clinic Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation of North Carolina, United Way of the Greater Triangle, Wake County Human Services, local businesses, congregations and individuals
- Wake County Department of Human Services for certain medications
- The North Carolina State Immunization Program
Volunteer Opportunities
All licensed professionals are invited to participate in a dynamic clinic setting both days and evenings. Non-licensed eligibility screeners, receptionists and Spanish interpreters are needed for all clinic hours as well.
