Honor your family, friends and associates with a donation to Urban Ministries of Wake County, and present them with a limited edition holiday card! Your purchase of holiday honor cards will help Urban Ministries provide food, shelter, emergency assistance, health care, medications and support to our neighbors in need.
Bridge of Hope is the title of our 2006 honor card painting, donated by NC artist William Mangum, with printing underwritten by Wachovia. The theme of the painting is inspired by the artist’s fascination and respect for bridges which he says are “graceful, set on sure foundations and lead travelers over some rocky terrainn.” He compairs bridges to individuals who “help those in crisis to the other side of their challenges, embracing their needs and serving as a bridge of hope.”
