Volunteers needed for JobLink center

Urban Ministries is proud to offer our clients help at our JobLink Satellite Office, Monday through Thursday from 10am until 1pm.

This service allows clients to build a successful resume, register for work in NC, and apply for jobs. We need volunteers to assist clients in writing their resume using a full featured resume writing program.

Prior experience writing resumes is not necessary, as the program does almost all of the work. We also need volunteers who can help clients navigate the NC Employment Securities Commission web page to find jobs and register for work. The web page is simple and neatly laid out, and all that would be required is the most basic internet skills.
