Thank you for making 2010 Tour d’Coop a success!

The photo above is a ‘green’ coop made from recycled materials. This coop and several other were brand new on the tour this year.

The annual event raised thousands of dollars in cash donations and non-perishable food items for our food pantry. These items will go directly to families in need in Wake County.

We are so grateful to be the beneficiary of this fun, feathery and family-friendly event. Kudos to the coop owners who invited us all into their gardens, the volunteers who were kept busy handing out maps and taking donations, Tour sponsor Whole Foods Market, and of course everyone who attended the tour and gave generously to our organization.
