Job Description

  • Greet and sign in patients, field questions, and direct clients’ needs to the appropriate staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients
  • Check clients ID
  • Determine need of client
    • Appointment
    • Food Assistance
    • Prescription Assistance
    • Medication Pickup
  • Check clients in using computer database
  • Keep track of late or missed appointments
  • Provide clients with additional resources for assistance
  • Alert clients when their food is ready for pickup

Skills Required

  • Basic computer skills
  • Friendly personality
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to answer questions
  • Ability to multi-task

Training Required

  • Volunteer orientation
    • RSVP registration
  • One shadowing shift

Days and Hours of Operation

  • Monday – Thursday
    • 9:00am – 1:00pm
    • 1:00pm – 4:00pm
    • 5:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Friday
    • 9:00am – 1:00pm
